Athletic Court Surfaces is a family-owned specialty contractor focused on high-performance athletic and durable coating systems. We install heavy-duty, precision-finished courts and sport surfaces for schools, municipalities, commercial facilities, and private developments. With a foundation in commercial construction and specialty coatings, we understand that surface preparation, material selection, and proper installation determine long-term performance. Every project we take on is approached with technical expertise and disciplined execution.
We are a family-owned company with a long-term vision. As parents to two young boys, Kyle and Patty have built Athletic Court Surfaces with long-term relationships in mind. Clients work directly with ownership – not layers of management.

Kyle brings over 15 years of experience in commercial construction and specialty coatings. Starting as a laborer and advancing through roles including carpenter, superintendent, and Project Manager, he developed a comprehensive understanding of structural systems, surface preparation, and jobsite management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and an Associate degree in Construction Technology from Colorado Mesa University. PATTY HARBERT
Controller | Finance & Operations
With more than 10 years of accounting and financial management experience, Patty brings operational strength and stability to the company. A graduate of Fort Lewis College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, her background includes project accounting, financial advising, and entrepreneurship. As Controller, she manages financial planning, contracts, and company operations - while frequently supporting field installations alongside the team.
